Umm… split seed?
Cube #4917338
Cube #4918178
4918336 added nub and branch
4918303 if you fill in that is part of the same branch, but for some reason the ai was unsure if all of it belonged so it only added the parts it did feel sure about
4917338 removed
4918178 is good everything belong in the same parent
Cube #4916642
I don’t have a screenshot, but it’s Cube #5192497. When I clicked Review, the entire trace including the seed changed to red, or incorrect.
the part that is lowest in your picture is good and the other part is a seed merger. i do not know why all of it show up as red, but possible someone reaped it empty for some reason earlier. It is good now.
hello. I just started playing but I keep getting tutorials instead of points? How can I fix this?
Welcome to eyewire
to play lvl 1 cell there is supposed to be a tutorial with 6 cubes + 6 training cubes, there should not be any demand on accuracy to pass this tutorial. After this you should try too chose lvl 1 cells in the change cell menu (lightyear cells)
If there are few avaiable cubes for play in lightyear cells you will probably run out of cubes and be moved to a lvl 2 cell (parsec)
Before playing lvl 2 cells you need to pass the lvl 2 tutorial and here you need to get good enough accuracy on all the tutorial cells to pass. This is quite difficult to do as the cubes in tutorial are some of the harder lvl 2 cubes, and it is recommanded that you are able to maintain a 90% lvl 1 accuracy.
I and the other scythes tend to forget that there are new players with low accuracy that also need lvl 1 cubes to play, and are bit too fast too mark lvl 1 cubes as complete and removing them from play.
Hi there, welcome to Eyewire. Yes, this is normal. If you can explain more of what you were concerned about, however, I can try to elaborate further!
Hi there, that looks like a seed merger that has now been dealt with for that cube.
Hello! relatively new eyewirer here (did the tutorial months ago but only started playing two days ago)
Cube #5230705 I got marked veryyy low but I just don’t see where I went wrong? the missing part just doesn’t seem to connect as far as I can tell. The incorrect part seems to meet to me even if it is dubious from one angle.
what am I not seeing?
thanks in advance
Hi Fable_and_Thread,
Welcome to Eyewire and thanks for reporting! Unfortunately, you got assigned a cube that had some issues which is why the review mode isn’t straightforward. I’ve removed the cube from play now so it shouldn’t be assigned to anyone else.
This cube was particularly tricky. While the red segment looks correct from most angles, it ended up leading to another cell where it truly belongs. There’s a very faint merger happening in the seed piece (dark blue) that can be easily missed, so the only way we found out it was a problem was when another cell starting growing! I’ve tried to circle where the error was, but this is a difficult faint outline to spot.
The other issue is the yellow missing segment. That actually is a missing extension from the “parent” cube (the cube that this cube #5230705 grew from). Sometimes the spawning system that grows cubes has issues with overlapping/neighboring cube extensions so it didn’t add the yellow piece in our cube #5230705 as part of the seed piece. I had to manually add this segment in as an admin.
Not much can be done about these situations, so I’m sorry it may have affected your accuracy. But don’t worry! Your accuracy is based on the past 60 cubes you’ve played so just keep playing more cubes and this one “bad” cube will get kicked out of your accuracy queue
If you have any other questions, let us know!
Cheers,
M.
Hi 22jcampb! Sorry for the delayed response. This cube was quite tough, but you were correct to report it. The red was the correct trace and that is now the final consensus for this cube! Good job finding the correct continuation!
Cheers,
M.
