What to do with merger or branches of other neurons?

When  is proposed a cube in which we realize that there is a merger or that clearly  has to do with branches of another neuron, what to do?
a. Working  as usual and in most cases earning a lot of points (even if useless)?
b. Skipping the cube?
c. Reporting the anomaly? In which way? (We don't  know on which cube we are working). A good idea may be that suggested by Beckeemo about a skip menu.
d. What else?

P.S. I understand what Sebastian says about the law of "diminishing returns" but just for this you/we have to optimize this part of research
PP.S. I'm here to be useful to science, even if only slightly,  not for points :-)

Hi Mario  … I’ve been skipping the cube and hoping that sets up some kind of feedback to the Eyewire team.  It’d be nice to have a report merger button or something.

Cheers to you from New Zealand
Hi Jude,
I do the same as you skipping cubes most of the times hoping it's useful for the eyewire team but I think we need an official response from the team to increase the "productivity" of our contribution.

And here I ask another question: what is more important for this research, the quality or quantity of our contribution?

A dear greeting from the antipodes of your beautiful New Zealand

Mario

I’d guess the best thing to do with a cube you suspect to be wrong or of no use would be to take a screenshot and post it on the forums, getting the location if you can from the overview and posting it on the forums too flag it to the eye wire staff and then to skip the cube. Unless there will be / until there is an automated system for reporting something like that the forums are probably the easiest way to flag it.

@mariomar   Thankyou thankyou!  I would love to see your part of the world one day     I agree it would be nice to hear from the team what they consider the best thing to do.  I don’t have the patience to screenshot/upload/post I’m afraid.

Yes… good question about quality vs quantity. I’d like to hope it’s quality, and that having many people complete the same cube would weed out errors caused by inexperience. What do you think?

I would love a button “suspected merger”

Skip menu! Skip menu! Skip menu!

Just staying “on message”!

Yes!  It’s on the list.  Thanks all!  We hope to get to it soon.
