I selected it out of curiosity, but when I submitted it, it claimed that it was correct:

Thanks for reporting! You’re correct that this huge blob is obviously false. Sometimes the computer grows a bad “seed” like the huge blob here from a small merger in the parent cube. This cube was fixed and the giant wrong seed blob was removed by an advanced player (a scythe).
However, the cube is still playable after the fix and you can still select something the computer previously declared a “seed” piece . This is why the accuracy came back that the segment was “correct” even though it doesn’t belong. I know that’s sort of confusing, but I hope this helps explain things. The good news is that the cube is correct now and no giant blob is present!
