It would be nice to have a vertical bar next to the slice box representing the z-axis, with a cursor indicating your position and which fills up gradually when images are loaded.

I’d second some sort of feedback indicator for stack loading, but I would also add that there are some images that seem to be Nev-R-LoadTM (they do eventually), and some way to cause the system to dispense these stack slices would be helpful. This problem has been eased in the latest code updates, but still shows up.
Thanks for the feedback! In the recent update, we added a progress spinner, which, while annoying, at least lets you know that the data is still loading. We’re definitely looking for other ways to let people know how much of the volume is loaded, etc., and these are some good ideas
