Is there currently a team working on an iDevice app for this software? We need the fastest and most reliable way to train the AI. I personally believe that 5 year olds with iPads are going to be doing this at an amazing speed and. Besides, how awesome would it be to be helping the Human Connectome project while waiting in line (or in class with a boring professor)?
Nice idea doctor! We actually had someone exploring the possibility a while ago, but we abandoned that in an effort to make the web site experience as solid as possible. We might be able to work on app versions of eyewire in the future (as the architecture matures and settles). But our current limiting factor is development resources. For the time being we will continue to focus on the website, but if we had some volunteers…
I can’t program iPhones . . .yet, if I find some spare time I will try to get something working.
