Some or Nothing

Sometimes I end up with a larger project than I thought and run out of time. Is it better to push “I’m finished” on a partially completed cube or give up on it completely?

Your final result is compared to the results of other players. If you submit an unfinished cube, the AI is unsure if you “missed” the parts the other people did or if the other players colored something that does not belong to the neuron. Therefore, it is better (for more accuracy) to abandon the cube.

However, if you are talking about a cube with huuuge amounts of colored parts (looks like this one: Cell Body), let me quote our jolly GrimReaper:
If you get one of those in the future don’t worry about spending too much time on it.  We care more about the exit points it makes than all the little dust pieces you’ve been adding.

Yes, I did mean the cell body blocks. Thank you so much for your quick and thorough response.
