Hi all. I just signed up recently and I’ve been having issues, both with logging in and with playing the game.
When I go to log in at https://eyewire.org/, it accepts my information, but doesn’t show any indication that it’s logged me in. After completing this process, this is the page with which I am presented: http://i.imgur.com/5Zzbf.png
This, of course, is the same page that I began on.
I’m running a fairly bleeding-edge Chromium dev version (25.0.1358.0) that I pulled from trunk, but WebGL should be operational, since the spinning cube appears when I go to http://get.webgl.org/, and I’ve even passed --enable-webgl on the command line options. All the requisite Chrom(ium) flags are enabled as well. My system is running Xubuntu 12.10 (x86_64).
Once or twice, I was able to see streaks on the front page, and a login screen that was different than the normal one. I’ve had Chromium throw an error or two saying that WebGL crashed, with options to “Try again” or “OK,” but neither option seems to make any difference in performance. A couple of times it even said there was an issue with WebGL, but I’m not sure why that would be, as everything seems to be set up properly.
Hope you guys can help, I’d love to help out with the research via the game, if possible!
