I am a new user and I want to try eyewire. But each time I login in, the “play” page (https://play.eyewire.org/) keeps “Loading…” for ever. I can see the main display as well as the 3D view on the left, as well as the “Shortcuts”, “Options” and “Actions” above the 3D View. But there is this message box in the middle of the main display which says “Loading…” with an animated GIF. And it keeps loading for ever. I can’t play and nothing happens.
Hi siggg,
I get the same error. The “Loading …” animation just sits there for a long time. When I looked in my console, I see a lot of GET requests for what appears to be image data. Eventually the GETs stop (after about a minute), but the “Loading …” animation stays on the screen.
This started happening to me 2 days ago after I completed the training.
Update: I re-loaded the page, this time with “Network traffic” disabled, and here is what I get: (using Firefox 10.0.2)

Update:
Pressing the ‘ESC’ stops the “Loading …” animation. I still can’t do anything, can’t click, can’t scroll layers, nothing.
That helped quite a bit. I’ve just pushed another revision, which hopefully solves this problem. Please let me know if it persists.
Yeah ! It works now… Gonna wire some eyes…
