Lightning 216a

Didn’t see any “lightning” discussions… Tried my first 3 Lightning cubes and apparently bombed them all. My accuracy went from mid/upper 90s to an embarrassing low level because of over coloring. Suggestions?

Hello,

Lightning cells are tougher Mystery -ganglion- cells.

That usually means a lot of nubs and strange, thin connections. But it can also mean cubes with black spills, misalignments, merger gaps and other difficulties.

Explanations on those:

Some steps you can take to be as sure as you can that you have traced all that there is to trace in cubes is:

1. Go slow, don’t haste speed is not the best friend of accuracy,

2. Change planes frequently with alt+left click on 2D and drag. and scroll back and forth on different planes. some connections will be easier to find in one plane and more difficult in another.

3. Ppam the shift button. It will hide the paint in the 2D allowing you to see borders easier as well as possible nubs/connections.

4. Search for wall connections. Just because something hits the cube’s wall does not mean it ends there, it may continue to run on the cube’s wall.

But above all don’t haste. take your time per cube until you are sure you have it all.

Thank you!
