iPad?

Hello
I’m new to Eyewire and trying to use it on an iPad with a ‘magic’ keyboard. Kind of works, but I cannot figure out how to undo/delete any additions I make. Any suggestions?

also, if there isn’t yet a way to use Eyewire (or Eyewire II) on iOS (iPad, iPhone), what would it cost in terms of people, funds, time to create an iOS version of the software and keep it up to date?

hi
Have you tried to click with two fingers or ctrl + click to remove segments?

I have no personal experience with eyewire on iPad or iPhone but know people have tried it on phones earlier. From what i understand the problem is/have been that eyewire need a lot of memory and download a lot of data. So players used up their montly dataplan and battery after perhaps 1 hour of play, today i know there are dataplans that have unlimited data each month that could be used.

If i remember correctly it is recomanded to have 8 GB RAM for playing eyewire, From what i understand the newest iphones and ipads should have this, but older models might struggle more.

From my experince eyewire 2 need more resurces than eyewire

Thanks! the ctrl click (I use the apple pen to click) actually works really well.
Do you know how I can rotate the 3D cube? I’ve tried various things but nothing works so far

i am using a touchpad on mac and what works for me is to hold one finger down (hard) and move with the second finger. (force touch) Holding down and moving with the same finger is also working. But not sure how that would work with a apple pen, maybe press on it or turn it?

thanks but so far that’s not working. I’ve tried a variety of things but so far I can’t see how to rotate the 3D cube. I can move through the three different perspectives slice by slice, and edit, but so far that’s the limit.

Right click + drag works on a trackpad, so if you can figure out how to simulate that on the ipad it might work for you. Otherwise I would suggest getting a wireless mouse to attach to your setup.

thanks Celia, the external mouse works well so that’s probably the best solution for the ipad
