Please post tips and stuff…cuz I think it means that I’m doing stuff that varies from what other people do a lot…
I get 20’s frequently; most of my scores are less than 100. Sometimes I get 20s when I didn’t add much or, if maybe I add a half a branch but it wasn’t difficult or time consuming, just scrolll and click, scroll and click, following one little segment.
My biggest scores, 1000 on a cell body that fills up almost the whole cube and that was when I did the whole thing, not just the edges.
In the middle range, the times I get 200 - 300 is when there is a large chunk (like a branch that is close to the cell body) and it takes a lot of time and scrolling through several times to find little bits to smooth it out and viewing different angles to remove mergers when i click the wrong thing.

Yeah, we get that from a lot of people. If you are scoring low to begin with, just be patient, you will get better. Would be great if more people made tutorial videos on youtube. Help the new users get up to speed!
Refreshing to see others had/have similar concerns. I just did 5 trailblazers in a row, for 20 pts. each . Sure feels like i’m screwin’ up… the first 3 were corners, so i didn’t add much, tried anything on #4, whole bunch of blue, still 20 points. Went with my gut on #5, you guessed it… 20 points. I have had some that yielded 100’s… I will go pay some more dues… I’m guessing red vs. purple means that it is better to err on the side of leaving some parts out as opposed to ‘ahem’ too much imagination. tyvm.
Alright everyone. By popular demand, I went in and changed it so that trailblazing tasks give 50 bonus points. Hopefully that makes everyone feel a bit better about it. The ui still won’t update and tell you how many points you get, but they are there. If you refresh the page, your score should update.
o.O noob mistake. I just assumed getting 20 points was a bad thing. I will go try to find more about scoring / trailblazer and do my homework. Sorry, and thanks for caring.
