When I checked the cell stats before, there were only a few hundred cubes/cell available. When I checked the cell stats now, there are over a thousand/cell. Is this supposed to happen?
As the cells are completed, new cubes are spawned for the new parts of the cell. This is just the natural growth of the cells as we finish them. It’s a great sign!
Thanks! That means that the J-cells are completed yet. Then shouldn’t the “projected size” bar reflect this too?
“Projected size” is just an average number based on cells that we have reconstructed in the past. It’s not intended as an exact endpoint, just a close target.
How many cubes does it take to complete an average neuron?
Depends on the type of cell, some are a lot bigger than others. But it’s in the range of 1000-2000.
