I just started this game. It will not allow me to paint the starting neurons. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? Thank you.

Alas Eyewire has to use some new techniques (not only WebGL) and those are not supported on some (older) browsers.
Considering your decription I think you are using Safari 5.1 on your Mac?
You could try Google Chrome or in case you have OS X 10.7 (Lion) you can update to Safari 6.0 via Software Update. That might work.

well i have a worse problem! the start playing button doesnt do anything and my security thing on my computer keeps telling me that there is a warning of cross site scripting, (i think i said that right) is this true?

What browser/os are you using? What security thing are you referring to? Could you pass along the warning messages that it’s giving you?
