As EW isn’t compatible with smartphone for the moment, could i suggest to disable OV loading for having the possibility to chat only ? 
I already tried to configure chrome to not loading the OV, but didn’t find any way.

I’m afraid that’s not possible right now. Perhaps you could talk to Atani? I think she has managed a way to access chat on her phone.

Unfortunately I’ve had mixed luck with getting overview to not load. If I stop the page from loading at just the right time I can prevent overview from loading in as well. But that often negatively affects the chat. At the moment it seems like having overview load-in is just the price we have to pay for chatting in chat on our smartphones.
