The Chat feature doesn’t work at all at my work site. Multiple machines, browsers, OSes, wired, wireless, etc. No problems at home.
Is there a specific port that might be getting blocked, or does it do something odd that an packet shaper might kill?
Hi Edremy, I’m not sure what might be going on that you’re not able to access chat, but I’ll pass this on to one of our Devs who should be able to help.
Did you ever type /silence into the chat? That disables chat, but if you do it again it’ll re-enable it.
Chat is done over websockets. Some proxies can break websockets, and if that’s happening at work, it’s likely that’s done intentionally by the IT for the office.
