I have seen a few times that the initially marked segment includes some regions that should not be marked. In this case the best solution would be if I could erase only a portion of the original segment. It seems that there is no way to subdivide segments, though, so an alternative would be to either restart the task using more constrained segmenting or at least have a way to flag the initial segment as being incorrect.

Hopefully these situations are few and far between. If you do run into a situation like this, we’d ask that you click abort task and state the reason. That way we’ll know to look at it and fix it up if we can.
I’ve ran into 7-8 of these situations in the last week i have been helping the project aswell. The only problem, is that I completed a large section of the task before realizing that a portion from a different neuron was highlighted in the original section.
