I put up “fun facts” slide sets before class just so students have something to look at while waiting for class start. (I started this tradition before smartphones were so common, now maybe less useful to do…). I recently made this new set and put it up for the first time today. Some students got excited because they had just been discussing “the brain” on the way to class, due to the movie Lucy about to come out tomorrow!
(BTW looks like the like the animated gif of the neuron “growing” doesn’t animate in box preview mode)
