Why are you involved? Let's find out what makes us a team :D

I don’t feel like a kid when doing this, but since I usually can’t focus on anything for more than 3 minutes, I figured I might put some of the cycle to use of science.

My husband has MS, I have epilepsy, so I’m thrilled to have a small part in this project because I want to increase knowledge about the nervous system, with the hope of someday finding cures or treatment for neurological / neuromuscular diseases!    Also I used to be a nurse, and I’m still curious about, and fascinated with, the structure and function of the human body.   Because of health problems i have a lot of time, and i can’t physically do as much as I used to, and maybe that has made me crave learning more, or maybe I’m just a big ole geek!  I never knew about the Citizen Science thing until this project, now I learned there is a whole site with all kinds of experiments we can help with,  wow!  Cool!

I am a auto technician for Ford Motor Co. Anything mechanical interest me. Biology is the study of the most complex machine to have ever evolved. And I find it a great way to kill time during semester break!

I like to play hidden object games and look for patterns. Eyewire is a better use of my time because my play can contribute to Biology. So long Bigfish! Hello MIT! I like to do this!

It’s so awesome to hear everyone’s stories!  Keep 'em coming!
