Q2 re special task: Would it not be as if not more effective to keep (re-add) the initial segID after making any/all changes as to showcase all the changes made rather than keep in all the removed mergers (even if hidden) in a diff. colour than the new/changed segID?
I agree, I think this is probably the best way to just compare the before/after segment IDs. But I wasnât part of the conversation directlyâŚ
⌠So in answer to your first question, the initial/origin Segment would be the mergers to keep so we can show what didnât get removed to those who are learning
okie dokey, I played it safe and just kept all of them hidden lol, oh and btw current entries in special task are all done.
Wow! Great! Iâll be sure to share this with them.
Itâs nice being back with these retina cells â theyâre like old friends
ikr? Iâm like âI know this cell and this cell and this cellâŚI know all the cell morphologies here â lol oprah winfrey moment lol
It has been so long since Iâve worked with these cell types, on the other hand, I feel like Iâve gotten myself confused, haha.
Remind me: how do we tell GCs and SACs apart?
the avg ganglion will have an axon
and be either single layer or bistratified (two layers).
SB/SACs on the other hand have no axon and are on a single layer going âoutwardsâ from the CB like an exploding star
Sorry I didnât get back to this last week, things were particularly busy.
I agree that this would be a good workflow, and we may change to this method for future similar tasks. For this one letâs just keep it as is since itâs already complete.
Thanks for all the work you did on these, itâs much appreciated!
Sounds like a plan, and yvmw! It was fun checking up someone elseâs work.
Hi AzureJay,
Yes! Feel free to trace both SACs if they started out merged together. And just keep them on the single line like you have right now in the spreadsheet - it looks great!
We only ask that the final link have both cells in it and the two final segIDs in Column L
Sorry I missed this! Yes, please make sure to do the soma and nucleus annotations for the cells. For the True End/Canât Fix/Hits Edge, this is to help you keep track of your proofreading progress (since we donât have highlight/complete/etc. like we do in Eyewire) and also for any potential reviewers/researchers to easily find areas where there may be an issue (ie. Canât Fix).
Np! Thnx for the answer. For the new Nuc SegID thingy, do you want the ##### alone in gsheet or also the segment included (not merged) in final link?
Letâs leave out the nucleus, I think itâs fine to just have the Seg ID in the sheet. Thanks!
