"Deorbit/Launch" Button for Scythes on Marathon Cells

Hi Scythes,

This is now our second marathon where we’ve had the “Deorbit/Launch” button visible for cells with the marathon tag. The marathon tag now not only lifts the weight cap but also allows Scythes to make the cell visible or invisible to players. We premiered this for Scythe Marathon purposes in May, but it is still around in general and on behalf of the GMs I’d like to make one small request…

Please don’t touch that button on the main marathon cell! :slight_smile:

The reason we have the button available on marathon tagged cells is so that if the main cell finishes when there are no admins around, Scythes can launch a backup cell with the same tag. Admins will provide Scythes with the backup cell(s)'s ID for Scythe Marathons or if we generally suspect there’s a chance of emergency circumstances arising. So, in short:

  1. Deorbit main marathon cell? - No (but… do launch it again if you accidentally make this mistake)
  2. Launch backup cell(s) if needed? - Yes
  3. Basically, if it gives you the option to deorbit, don’t deorbit. If it gives you the option to launch, do launch, unless the main marathon cell is not out of cubes for everyone.
