You all are insatiable aren’t you…  We’ll have to discuss this internally.  Bipolar cells aren’t really on the scientific plate at the moment.

I would love to be able to see, for each different type of ganglion to the optic nerve, a representative sampling of input-to-output cells. So that I can say, this is a cell that feeds the optic nerve, here’s the circuitry from top to bottom, so here’s probably how it works.

As a little update, we’re doing an internal test of this to see if it’s even possible for US to do a bipolar cell in eyewire.  Our main concern is that it won’t be difficult and challenging, it will be impossible and frustrating.
