My paintbrush does not select what it is over. t is above and to the left. I am using safari and unable to use any other browser. Could someone please fix this?

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with Eyewire.
Have you tried adjusting your paintbrush size? A larger paintbrush will select more segments within it’s radius. You can adjust the brush size by hitting the “q” and “e” keys or in the settings menu (access it by clicking on the gear wheel icon).

I can do that, but it is a pain to deselect the segments i dont want

Okay, it sounds like a paintbrush size adjustment didn’t fix your problem. I tried to reproduce this on Safari but was unable to. Perhaps your cursor tracking is slow/off in the browser? You may need to check your computer settings.
You can also take a screenshot of any errors in the javascript console (f12 or ctrl+shift+j). However, I cannot guarantee that there will be any fix as we don’t officially support Safari.
