Eyewire Style Guide in the works

Several players have been creating great features and assets for Eyewire. In order to make it easier to match how future Eyewire will look and minimize the great features that match UI we haven’t touched since 2014 or so, we’ve been putting together a Style Guide with assets that reflect a sleeker, updated Eyewire UI.

Styleguide will include:

  1. .ai files with assets like icons and badges
  2. colors
  3. type & padding guide
  4. general style descriptions

Much of our style is drawn from Google Material Design https://material.io/guidelines/

UI animations, styles from settings etc can be taken directly from Eyewire, as you’re already doing

What else would you like to see?

In the mean time, here’s an .ai file with icon assets, including an alignment grid: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1RUayYVThAq8EJ1z8ftEVdUdVr_VN0jDI

Icon stroke width 6 pt
color # e6edf2

Icons have outlines only (no fill) and are as minimal as possible. They are flat with continuous path, so if two elements of an icon intersect, there is no gap. Round caps.

A folder of icons, including several unused ones, can be found at https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3kV2fQEMUoKWVliVjBfLXprYVk
