Could you color the outline on the left view to correspond to the color of the outline on the plan view on the right in chrome? For instance the xy plane could be one color while the xz plane could be another, etc. It would help me in viewing the piece I am working on?

Thank you for your suggestion! Your color suggestion is interesting. In the meantime, we recently updated the 2D so you can see what plane you are currently in. The top right icon on your 2D slides indicates what plane it is (X, Y, or Z). Simply clicking the icon will change your plane in the 2D and 3D space until you find the orientation you would like.
